Due to our healthy growth strategy and new challenges every day, we are continuing to expand our location Hamme and are looking for a full-time Senior Planner Deepsea (M/V/X) to start as soon as possible.
Job description and your role in our organization
Managing all administrative and logistical aspects of international goods flows, including requesting customs documents, coordinating with customs and carriers, maintaining customer contact and resolving issues to ensure that shipments are handled correctly and on time from start to finish in accordance with regulations.
- Documentation management: Preparing bills of lading (BL), Verified Gross Mass (VGM) and other necessary documents.
- Customs clearance: Requesting import and export documents.
- Logistics coordination: Booking shipments, planning transports.
- Customer service: Informing customers about shipments, handling questions and identifying problems.
- Administrative processing: Entering data into systems, invoicing and ensuring a correct administrative flow from start to finish.
- Process improvement: Contributing ideas and proposing solutions for more efficient processes.
Profile
Education
- Minimum bachelor's degree in logistics or equivalent through experience
Professional knowledge & certificates
- You are able to work with a Transport Management System (TMS).
- You have a good knowledge of the basic Microsoft Office packages.
- Knowledge of customs regulations.
Languages
- Dutch and English are an absolute must.
- German and French are a valuable plus.
